We believe that the benefits, which result from the present project, will be innumerable, especially at the current time, when, as we previously mentioned, the Amazon is the focus of the scientific community and world wide ecological organisations.
Among these benefits we cite the following as being closest to the foundation's objectives:
a. the challenge laid down to all environmentalists across the globe, to put the philosophy into the practice of defending the environment, preserving and conserving the local environment in its original form by means of tree adoption. Trees which are plotted on a map of the area;
b. the guarantee that this preservation and conservation will be permanent, moved forward by the concerns and safeguards of the environment, opposing the stretching of the ever increasing new boundaries of economic activity.
c. the development of the ecological awareness in a region whose basic economic activity is extraction, chiefly plant and animal, through courses, speeches, seminars and other educational methods, including the primary education network
d. to provide new jobs and the possibility of increasing household income with the initial objective of relocating populations around the project which make their living from this extraction.
e. to contribute to the promotion and expansion of eco-tourism, allowing the population's environmental awareness to root in firmly.
f. to directly promote, by means of either national and international scientific institutions, studies and research into the local environment, in such a way that society would be both the agent and beneficiary of this work.
g. to serve as a pioneering model for the development of other similar projects, providing them with the experience and the know-how acquired in the implementation and maintenance stages, helping them avoid errors possibly present in this Project.
Besides this, we will be collaborating socially, generating jobs for the local population who will be working for the protection of these trees.
It is of the utmost importance to clarify that the area of the project will be transformed into a Reserve of Natural Private Heritage, thus integrating Brazilian national policy with natural resources.
